Just some random fisheye lens pictures I took over the last month.

Sierra Nevada Mountains
Winding road on the Nevada side
Some guy who was fishing here got mad at me.
I love winding roads. Too bad I only have a Civic to enjoy them.
Love the clouds that day.

I used a Lomography Fisheye 35mm Camera. It's a cheap, fun little camera. I take it everywhere.

Road Trip - Marine Mountain Warfare Training

On my last road trip, as I head through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I passed the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center. Luckily I was video taping using my little Veho Micro DV Camcorder. So, I decided to put the video on YouTube.

Nothing earth shattering here. Just a road trip through the mountains with a whole bunch of Marines around. The music is Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms

Up and Down the Mountain.

Yesterday, my bother invited my daughter and me up to the his cabin in Utah. The cabin sit at around 9,300 feet and is near Cedar City. The snow had just melted a couple of weeks ago and although there were patches of snow left, it was warm and everything was just starting to bloom.

My brother had to get the cabin ready for the summer which meant, turning on the generator, getting the water supply ready and making sure there were no leaks. Also to check for any invading critters.

My Brother's Cabin
The little pond was overflowing from winter melted snow
All kinds of cabins - this one was converted from a trailer.
Broken down outhouse - use at your own risk.
Love
The video bellow is on our way down from the cabin. We descended some four thousand feet to Cedar City. The music is Painted Sun In Abstract- Soundtrack The Social Network and Lord Inchiquin - Franco Morone. It was shot using a  Veho Micro DV Camcorder and edited in Corel VideoStudio Pro X4

Escape to Vegas Mountain

I couldn't take the heat anymore so I escaped to a local mountain called, Mt. Charleston. I took along all three cameras - the fisheye, multilens and the Olympus (old school) OM-1 35mm. Here are some pictures from all three. I present them for your enjoyment.

The weather up there was great - I was at about 8,000 feet and the temperature was around 80 degrees. There was a light wind and you could hear it rustle through the trees. There was the smell of pine and I could actually hear animals. Sometimes living in the city - if it wasn't for the color of money, I forget what the color green looks like. - NOTE - I did not see Elvis.
