Last Saturday I watched my daughter roll some bowling balls at Cosmic Bowling. I ate some pizza and had a couple of diet Cokes. That night I dreamed I was flying through space and time, seeding the universe with stars. Which now makes me wonder what exactly was in that pizza?

Vegas Sky

Some pictures of the beautiful Vegas sky just before sunset. I took these with my Pentax K-x DLSR. I love Vegas at night, although our lights blind ever observatory in a three hundred mile radius and all of us suffer from neon exposure. There is no other skyline like it.

My Grandmother's House

My grandmother's railroad house
I am a third generation Las Vegan. Both sets of grandparents came to Las Vegas in the early 50's. My grandmother's house was on third street near down town. She and my grandfather ran a small place providing housing for railroad workers.

After she passed away some years ago, the house was moved to the Clark County Historical Museum. It's displayed as a typical railroad house. The museum is a great place to visit and shows as it was before all the casinos and fancy fountains.
